Onwards Into Round Two!

Hello everyone!

Right now I am so delighted to have been informed that The Blue Blog has made it into round two of the TKCPCheats’ exclusive, annual ‘Penguin Talent Awards’! While it lasted, I think round one went really successful for me with some fluctuation within the top three of my category – ‘Best Blog’. Never did I ever think, before this event ever started, that I would be voted for in this category. I find it so shocking because I just never realized how much support a lot of you give me and that has made me so happy. Just to let you know, I always appreciate every single on of you who support me and I am thrilled that you enjoy what I do on this blog.

So now that we enter round two, I just want to wish everyone – who has made it – massive amounts of luck! Lots and lots of people deserve to get awarded for their efforts in the community so all I can do is wish you all luck. It feels good to be in round two, huh? Well done to everyone who has been nominated and for the people who didn’t make it to round two, you still have your supporters and I am so glad that you got the chance to be a nominee so I am proud of you all! It is such an honour to even be in this competition so well done and keep up the hard work with whatever you do!

To end this post, I am just going to say one thing. I would appreciate it if any of my supporters would vote for me in the competition. I would hate to force anyone so I understand that you may have other blogs (you think deserve the award) in mind. Even if I don’t make it to the finals, I would still feel honoured and so happy to have discovered how supportive you all are to me. Round two may not seem that special to you but it means a lot to me and to get this far, in the competition, is literally unbelievable! Is this the “Best Blog”?

Hello everyone!

I have some exciting news to share with you all. So last night, I was surprisingly greeted by TKCP Cheats. They announced that I was an official nominee for the ‘Best Blog’ category in their fifth annual ‘Penguin Talent Awards’. Firstly, this is my first time – ever – for being nominated for an award so I am so happy and excited. Secondly, I am shocked and surprised. When I looked at all the other nominees in that category, I found some of the top blogging legends out there in the community such as: Trainman1405, Riyita and Saraapril. And then there was me.

As well as feeling honoured, I felt overwhelmed by these amazing people and I thought “do I really deserve a spot?”. It has been two years since I started this blog and it has been an amazing journey. Though I have strived for different things unlike other bloggers in this category who always post updates, when they can, and that is why they succeed. I, on the other hand, would love to do that but I just cannot race with time; there is always so much going on in my life that I am always unsure when I can blog. That is why I am never a frequent blogger but when I do get the chance, I love it and I hope that every post I do is of high quality. So I feel so honoured to have even been nominated in this category even though my blog is sometimes at rest.

Very recently, I have tried to post as much as I could in the holiday but the next several weeks consists of exams and revision so you may not see a lot of me until late July.

So what I would like to say is that I would appreciate any of your votes. I dare to be forceful because I know that a lot of the other nominees in this category are so talented. Tech70, for example, produces very interesting posts once or twice a month and that is someone who I can relate to. Then there are the BIG bloggers who I cannot imagine competing against. I also know a lot of other people in the other categories who I think deserve awards but there is so many of you that I know. So I support you all! I wish you luck to everyone who has been nominated for an award.

Community Collab: #OurDisneyInfinity

Hey there!

Disney Interactive are currently holding a Players Pick where the community decide what the next Disney Infinity character should be. There is a poll on the Disney Blog where only a selection of characters are randomly chosen for people to vote for. However the vote is much more open as the team are also counting votes from social media. Using #OurDisneyInfinity will count as a vote as long as you obviously say who you want to join Disney Infinity.

A lot of the Club Penguin community (including me) are big fans of Disney since the game is amazing and some of the minds behind Club Penguin are involved with the game. As a loyal community to Club Penguin, we can use our support to help Club Penguin to be included inside Disney Infinity. Wouldn’t it be great to see Rockhopper waddling around with Captain Jack Sparrow to help defeat Davy Jones? Or would it be even cooler to see Herbert join forces with Darth Vader for the ultimate showdown in the toy box? There are endless possibilities in this game and Club Penguin could have potential in making it even more infinite with our voices heard.

If you are on social media, be sure to use #OurDisneyInfinity to help spread the word and suggest different ideas related to Club Penguin. This is a great opportunity to get creative since there is finally a chance for Club Penguin to join a game where imagination is only the limit. Retweeting on Twitter, liking on Facebook/Instagram can also make a difference so make sure you support the supporters with this campaign!
